Dahl In-Home Service Contracts

In-Home Service Contracts cover labor costs to repair your Lift Chair with replacement parts that are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.  Review this product’s parts warranty by clicking on the Warranty Tab.  If you experience an issue, call us and we will help you.  Once we diagnose the issue and are unable to fix your Lift Chair over the phone, we will order warranty parts for you and send a certified technician to your home, when required, to repair your Lift Chair. 

Please note: Service contracts do not extend the warranty of replacement parts.  Service contracts do not cover product maintenance, adjustments, calibrations, product return services or product repairs parts are not cover under the manufacturer’s warranty, except for chair frames and lift/recline mechanisms.  If you have a service agreement and need to purchase new chair frames and lift/recline mechanisms to fix your Lift Chair, your In-Home Service Contract will cover the labor.

If you do not have an In-Home Service Contract or had one and it expired, we can still help you with your repair needs.  We not only sell replacement parts but also offer labor services which covers diagnostics, repairs, and other Lift Chair services as needed.  The per-visit labor contract costs $249.  Additional fees will apply if you are located greater than 50 miles from our closest certified technician.

Dahl Certified White Glove Delivery

White Glove Delivery is a premium delivery option that provides added convenience of having your unit unpacked.

A delivery technician will call and set up the delivery time.  The delivery technician will:

• Bring the unit into your home
• Set it up where you request
• Inspect for shipping damage
• Remove all packaging materials

White Glove Delivery adds an additional 5-7 days to the total delivery time. This service may not be available in all areas, you will be notified within 72 hours if we are unable to provide this service.

LIFETIME WARRANTY

Pride offers a lifetime warranty on the steel lift mechanism. Pride warrants that the steel lift mechanism on your Pride Lift Chair will be free from defects under normal use and service for as long as the chair is in use by the original owner. This lifetime warranty covers the steel lift mechanism against metal fatigue, defective welds, and bushings.

NOTE: Pride reserves the right to replace only the part of the steel lift mechanism that may be defective.

SEVEN-YEAR PRO-RATED WARRANTY (ELEGANCE and SPECIALTY COLLECTIONS)

For the first four (4) years from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:

• Wood Frame

• Motor

• Hand Control

• Scissor Mechanisms

For three (3) additional years, a pro-rated warranty will be made available for the following parts:

• Motor

• Hand Control

Pride will warrant these components with the following pro-rated schedule:

• Fifth year: 25% off suggested retail price

• Sixth year: 15% off suggested retail price

• Seventh year: 5% off suggested retail price

SEVEN-YEAR PRO-RATED WARRANTY (HERITAGE COLLECTION)

For the first three (3) years from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:

• Wood Frame

• Motor

• Hand Control

• Scissor Mechanisms

For four (4) additional years, a pro-rated warranty will be made available for the following parts:

• Motor

• Hand Control

Pride will warrant these components with the following pro-rated schedule:

• Fourth year: 35% off suggested retail price

• Fifth year: 25% off suggested retail price

• Sixth year: 15% off suggested retail price

• Seventh year: 5% off suggested retail price

TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (CLASSIC COLLECTION)

For two (2) years from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:

• Wood Frame

• Motor

• Hand Control

• Scissor Mechanisms

• Heat Pad

• Massage Unit

• Metal Frame (LC-105 only)

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

(LC-105) For one (1) year from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:

• Wood Frame

• Motor

• Hand Control

• Scissor Mechanisms

RECONDITIONED UNITS WARRANTY

All reconditioned units are covered by a six-month warranty from Pride effective from the date of purchase.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not extend to fabric and excludes steel frame chairs.

Pride is not responsible or obligated to pay for labor, service calls, shipping, and/or any other charges incurred for repair of the product. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please contact your authorized Pride Provider for information on the current cost associated with a service visit.

• Circumstances beyond the control of Pride

• Labor, service calls, shipping, and other charges incurred for repair of the product, unless specifically authorized, IN ADVANCE, by Pride Mobility Products Corporation

• Repairs and/or modifications made to any part without specific consent from Pride

Exclusions also include components with damage caused by:

• Contamination

• Abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence

• Battery fluid spillage or leakage

• Commercial use, or use other than normal • Improper operation, maintenance, or storage

IMPLIED WARRANTIES

Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one (1) year from the date of purchase and to the extent permitted by law. Any and all implied warranties are excluded. This is the exclusive remedy. Liabilities for consequential damages under any and all warranties are excluded.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion of limitation incidental or consequential damages. The above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Please fill out and return the product registration card to Pride.

This will aid Pride in providing the best possible technical and customer service.

Crytpon Fabric Warranty

Crypton Fabric offers a five-year warranty on the moisture barrier. What that means is that we absolutely stand by the statement that our fabric will remain spill, moisture, bacteria, and odor-free. Does not cover punctures in the fabric.

In-stock lift chairs are returnable however custom-built lift chairs, including but not limited to those with upgraded/custom fabrics, heat and massage, Power Pillow, footrest extension or left-hand control options are non-returnable.

The following policy applies for STOCK LIFT CHAIRS:

• The item must be in new and unused condition. Chair cannot be unboxed and left in-home.
• This item has a 25% Restocking Fee.
• You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and the product must be in the original packaging.
• All accessories and power cords included in the lift chair’s box must be returned.
• Items canceled after the product has already shipped will be considered a return.
• Delivery and service fees are not refundable.
• An RA (Return Authorization) from Dahl Medical Supply must be requested within 5 business days of delivery.
• The item must be shipped back to the address noted on the RA within 10 business days.
• The item must be shipped back to the address noted on the RA within 10 business days.
• Once approved, your refund, minus any restocking and freight fees, will be issued to your original form of payment.
• If delivered by a technician and delivery slip is signed and accepted the item is unable to be returned.
