Return Policy

Dahl Medical Supply – Return Policy

At Dahl Medical Supply, we want you to feel confident with your purchase. Because we carry a wide range of durable medical equipment (DME), our return policy varies depending on the type of item purchased. Please review the categories below carefully.


1. Standard Retail Items (Unopened / Unused)

  • Items such as walkers, rollators, small aids for daily living, cushions, and accessories may be returned within 14 days of purchase.

  • Products must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt.

  • A 15% restocking fee may apply.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the item is inspected.


2. Lift Chairs, Scooters, Power Chairs & Hospital Beds

  • These items are non-returnable once delivered and used, due to hygiene, customization, and wear considerations.

  • If returned within 7 days of delivery in brand-new condition, a 20% restocking fee applies, plus delivery and pickup charges.

  • Special orders, custom fabrics, and upgraded batteries are final sale.


3. Rental Equipment

  • Rental items (scooters, hospital beds, lift chairs, wheelchairs, etc.) are non-refundable once the rental period has started.

  • Early returns are accepted, but no prorated refunds will be issued.

  • Deposits, if required, are refundable upon the safe return of equipment in good condition.


4. Consumable & Hygiene Products

  • Due to health and safety regulations, the following are non-returnable once purchased or opened:

    • Diabetic footwear and custom orthotics

    • Braces, supports, and compression garments

    • Bathroom safety equipment (toilet seats, commodes, etc.)

    • Any disposable or hygiene-related product


5. Defective or Damaged Items

  • If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • We will repair, replace, or refund the product at no additional cost once verified.


6. Special Orders

  • Items not normally stocked (custom sizes, special fabrics, or custom mobility equipment) are considered final sale and are not eligible for return.


7. Shipping, Delivery & Pickup Fees

  • All shipping, white-glove delivery, and setup fees are non-refundable.

  • If pickup is required for a return, the customer is responsible for pickup fees.
