Easy To Use Controls
Operating a heavy duty power chair from Dahl Medical Supply is simple, even if it’s your first time. These chairs come with an intuitive joystick control system designed for smooth and responsive mobility—whether you're indoors or outdoors.
Joystick Overview:
- Power Button: Press and hold the power button to turn the chair on or off. You’ll see indicator lights activate on the control panel when the unit is powered.
- Battery Gauge:A row of LED lights displays the current battery level:
- Green = Fully charged
- Yellow = Moderate power
- Red = Low battery – please charge soon
- Speed Controls: Use the plus (+) and minus (–) buttons to adjust your speed. It’s recommended to start on a lower setting until you’re comfortable operating the chair.
Movement with the Joystick:
- Push forward to drive straight ahead
- Pull back to reverse
- Move left or right to turn
- Angle the joystick diagonally for combined movement (like turning while reversing)
The joystick is pressure-sensitive, meaning the farther you push it, the faster the chair moves. Release the joystick at any time to bring the chair to a gentle, automatic stop.
Safety Features:
- Electronic Brakes: Automatically engage when the joystick is released.
- Anti-tip Wheels: Built into all heavy duty models for added security and stability.

Delivery Fee & Information
Standard Rental Delivery (30 miles from Minneapolis, MN) is $125.00 (calculated at checkout) and includes pick-up.
Outside of the 30-mile radius, add $40.00 per 20 miles. This charge will be calculate after you submit the rental and be a separate charge.
Rush and/or same-day delivery, add $125.00 onto the standard delivery fee.

Our rigorous sanitization process ensures that every rental product is safe, clean, and ready for use upon arrival. Your health and safety are our top priorities!
Delivery: How it works at a hotel
We may drop off your scooter(s) at the hotel bell desk either the evening before your rental date or the day of, depending on the hotel's policies. If you're not checked in yet, no worries! We'll leave your scooter(s) at the bell desk under your hotel reservation name, and you can pick it up at your convenience. (Pro tip: please include your hotel reservation name in the “notes” section during checkout to help us with this process.)
- If your hotel does not allow vendors to leave rental scooters, we will contact you to arrange an in-person drop-off and pickup.
Pickup: How it works at a hotel
To return your item(s), simply leave it with the bell desk or front desk, and we’ll pick it up the evening or the next morning your rental ends. It’s that simple and convenient!
Delivery: Residential or AirBnb/VRBO
We are happy to deliver your rentals to any residence within our delivery zone, which extends 30 miles from the Minneapolis and St. Paul area. If you're unsure whether your location falls within our delivery range, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at (612) 334-3159, and we’ll be happy to assist you in confirming your delivery eligibility. We strive to make sure your rental experience is as convenient as possible!
